Phew, finally I can grant my friend's request about drawing manga. He always had big will to learn, so I wish these tutorials can make him become easier to draw anime.

My tutorials consist of 3 parts. Drawing Eyes, drawing face, and drawing body. I will make them as detailed as possible. Perhaps I will use so many mathematic methods to reveal each the size.

Let's begin the first one


This first tutorial is general drawing tutorial. These are kinds of eye that I ever try to draw. The brand new ones are the "Near-realistic style". That had been my project for long time, but I mastered it just a week ago.

Sorry, I can just teach about anime eyes, not realistic eyes. Because in fact, I haven't mastered realistic eyes yet. Once I master, I will add them in tutorial.



At that tutorial, I didn't optimize eyelashes below the eye. That's because I have trauma that I always made the cuteness of my characters went away when I added the boldness of the eyelashes below the eye.

Actually, that is not the matter. As long as the boldness is perfect, it will make the characters look cuter than without bold addition.

But, if the boldness is beyond the limit, the cuteness will decrease.


Add the boldness of the lower eyelashes, but don't make them too bold. At least, measure the boldness, that the boldness of lower eyelashes is half of the upper eyelashes. That's my advice for evading major mistake in adding boldness at lower eyelashes |^_^|. Ganbatte ne...
